Jehovah’s Witnesses

To many people, Jehovah’s Witnesses appear to believe the same thing as Christians. In reality, their theology is quite different. For instance, while the Christian Bible says that Jesus was and always will be God, Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that he was a created being.

Jehovah’s Witnesses also deny other important Christian teachings such as Jesus’ resurrection, the trinity, and salvation by grace through faith.

If these doctrinal differences were minor they could be overlooked, but the two belief systems are in conflict. Both of them cannot be true at the same time. The Christian Bible is very clear on the importance of these differences. Eternal life and salvation are only available to those who place their faith in the sinless God who became flesh, the second member of The Trinity, who was crucified, buried, and resurrected.

Monthly Memory Verse

For in the gospel the righteous-ness of God is revealed—a right-eousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17
