Buddhism
For Buddhists, there is no creator or supreme being—the world evolved and operates by natural law. There is no such thing as sin, and humans are generally considered worthless and temporary. Many followers worship the Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, as well as relics of him. The ultimate goal for Buddhists is Nirvana, a state of being where desire and suffering ceases.
During life here on earth Buddhists strive, among other things, to deny worldly pleasures, not harm anyone or anything, suppress evil tendencies, and meditate.
Christianity is in stark contrast to Buddhism. They cannot both be true. The Bible tells about a personal, all-powerful God who created and controls everyone and everything. The Bible also reveals the presence of sin in humans, and the fruitlessness of their trying to earn God’s favor or forgiveness. Heaven is only available to those who acknowledge God and trust Jesus Christ for their souls and their destinies.
