Women’s
Team Leader
Chris Nuccio
Purpose of Ministry
To provide a means of connecting with God and other sisters in Christ through women-focused studies and events. Our goal is to live the KRCC mission as we grow spiritually – loving and trusting the Lord our God; building, developing and strengthening relationships with God and others; and reaching out to edify and serve the body of believers and the community.
Ministry Services Needed
The women’s ministry facilitates weekly Bible study groups, has a monthly coffee date and has initiated a monthly book club. There is also the potential for ladies day seminars, fellowship nights, social outings, soul food classes, conference attendance and a Titus 2-focused mentoring ministry.
Circle of Friends Book Club
We would like to invite all the women of Kirkwood Road Christian Church to join our new Circle of Friends Book Club. We will be posting the selection of the month and will have a fellowship night to discuss that month’s book. The fellowship night will be hosted in the home of someone in the book club each month (most likely on a Friday night). We will determine monthly what works best for that month’s hostess. The selections for the first four months of the year are as follows:
- January: Eve’s Daughters by Lynn Austin
- February: His Princess, Love Letters from Your King by Sheri Rose Shepherd
- March: The Last Sin Eater by Francine Rivers
- April: Proof (The Great Awakening Series 1857-1858) by Bill Bright and Jack Cavanaugh
Books may be ordered from any bookstore or if you prefer to order online you may find Christian Book Distributors a good choice. The participation is informal. You may decide which months you would like to join in depending upon your own schedule and the book selection. However, we would like to create and email distribution list for all the women that might be interested. If you would like to participate in the Book Club, please contact Christine Nuccio or Lisa Kochanny. If you don’t have an email address, please make sure that we have your current home address, and we will mail any email blasts concerning Book Club news.

Additional Comments
The women’s ministry is a constant work in progress and is open to new ideas about how we can grow and serve God and others through the power of the Holy Spirit.
