Purpose of Ministry

To provide meals for births, surgery recovery, extended illness and funeral dinners. We prefer the meals be delivered in disposable containers or non-returnable containers. The best way for us to know of a need is with a call from someone who knows about the circumstance.

Ministry Services Needed

  • Food preparation
  • Possible delivery of meals if a working member can prepare the food but not deliver the meal
  • During funeral dinners, we need individual dishes prepared, set up, serving and clean up.
  • Cash donations and gift cards are always accepted to help with families that might need to travel or have extended time in hospitals, etc.

    • Time Commitment

    The time element varies depending on the need. This ministry work happens usually on short notice that might require
    one hour or two hours of your time. We are a when-needed ministry.

    Additional Comments

    We welcome and need both men and women in this ministry. A timely meal from a Christian brother or sister can be a great encouragement. It reminds people that their church family is thinking and praying for them during this time.
